Quote from Flame CZE :That's a surprising decision you've made. I thought Nitor Velox would at least try and finish the GT World Series, because that is surely what Tomek would've wanted. Not necessarily because of the points, but more as a tribute. Now you basically ditched all the effort your team have put into the series, including Tomek. The feelings inside your team are of course different than mine or others', but this is how I feel about it.

Really sad to hear.

I wish this would be possible, but it takes more than one driver to complete 24 Hours of competetive running.

In nv.'s state, the mentality of the drivers and efforts alike it's simply impossible to fulfill decency in my opinion.

We're certainly not a half assed team, and therefore the decision is not doing a half assed tribute for someone that deserves more.

I hope you understand.

A little news update, and the final one from Nitor Velox at the same time.

After a few weeks after the tragic day, most of the members of the team has come to the conclusion that it would be best for everyone to close the team and move on.

It's better to come out with something official instead of letting the team fade out in the darkness, something I personally wish would never happen, but here we are.

For me personally it's been impossible to move on from the accident, and for the final race in GT World Series as well, the motivation has been absent.

From the teams point of view, the tragic loss of Tomek, no one has been really active, we received a lot of good wishing in the first days, and we are really thankful that most share the same feeling of emptiness and sadness as we do, the future for the team is inevitable, the team will be closed at the end of this message, and nothing much else needs to be said.

It's on the whole teams agreement that we close the team, no one is angry with anyone, but it's simply better to look for better options.

My future consists of an indefinite retirement from Live For Speed, many bright things are to come, and I want to enjoy them fully, when the time is right.

For the last time,
Thanks for the battles we've had on the track and the friendships we've had.

If only the history in LFS was that FZR had a turbo as well..... everything would be a bit more easy.

Just use the lap as a lag lap, and /restart after the lap is done

Shouldn't require anything else then people being there on time and gridding starts as pr usual.

It takes about 3minutes(+-) to do the lap at 80kmph.

Quote from jibber :And the VW driver was driving correct?

All of the drivers in this video should have their license removed.

Well, First of all, BMW was only accelerating once VW was indicating to go into left lane, so that is a commitment, it moves out before it was EVEN a danger to the BMW.

Secondly, BMW continues to accelerate until x close meters to VW, thus VW makes the reaction to brakecheck, which of course is wrong, but having an idiot going under your bumper flashing lights and honking horn, I'd probably put him in the fence.

3rd, the VW moves over and instantly the BMW starts it's shit again.

And then of course anger and fear takes over.

BMW started it.

For those who can read polish, please advice, quite horrible pictures. : http://straz-proszowice.pl/tragiczny-wypadek

I don't know what to say, He has been a good friend of mine for a long time in the LFS community we share many memories of either battling against or with each other on track.

I will forever honor his legacy as one of the best racers the Sim has ever had and he will be dearly missed in Nitor Velox and in the whole of Live For Speed Community.

This is the saddest update I'm probably ever going to write in my life on this forum..

It is with the deepest and saddest feelings that my friend Tomek Nogiec passed away tragically last night in a car Accident.

This post will be updated, I cannot write anything else now.

Dear LFS'ers!

We today have finalized a deal with the Hosting company, BWHosting, the deal for now is product sponsosrhip, where BWHosting has agreed to allow us using their server for Nitor Velox.

We are very happy to have our first sponsor, it's not been a long time since this team started and we've already made a good impact on the LFS Scene.

I hope that the deal between us (BWHosting and Nitor Velox) will be a good way to boost the company's image and hopefully we'll be able to give some good feedback on their servers please go and check out their website : www.BWHosting.org.

Regards,
Nitor Velox Management.

Oh wow, mature #33..

Either way, I did all I could to avoid joonas, I didn't have much idea that one would go for such move in the opening stages, the penalty is served and done.

But for that instance, I think the crash cost you more time than our penalty did, so next time, think of the consequences before you force other people into stupid mistakes.

Good catching up so far

Session of Incident: Race
Lap AND MPR timecode of incident : Race lap 1 / on track lap 2. : 05:05
Car(s) involved : #01, #30 and #02
Location of Incident: T1 braking zone
Brief Description of Incident : As the cars approached T1, 30 and 01 was side by side, as they entered the braking zone, 01 turns right which interferes with 30's line which is relatively straight, causing 30 running wide and later ending up in the grass after a change of line from 02, eventually loosing us top 3 position and loosing valuable time.
