Rule 1: Don't talk about iRacing in a negative manner. Scawen seems to love iRacing and will ban you.
Rule 2: Don't post tits. Contrary to popular internet rule, tits or gtfo will get you banned if you post tits. It's more like tits and gtfo on this forum.
Rule 3: Don't be a Kingsbury. They get banned, but the reasons are never in public. They probably PM Dekojester in inappropriate ways, asking to see his dingdong or something.
Rule 4: Don't be racist. Not too hard, just don't call someone a ******. Pretty simple stuff.
Rule 5: Don't be a pirate. Pirates are only allowed on the seven seas, not on the LFS Forum.
Rule 6: Don't be an ****. Simple stuff again.
Following these simple steps will prevent you from being added to the ever growing No Longer Welcome group on this forum!
Fixing crash bugs are not a waste of time. The worst thing that could possibly happen in a game is a CTD. Imagine leading the KY500 and you have a crash bug? Not such a waste of time, now is it?
To be fair, look at what Facebook has purchased in the last year. Whatsapp and Instagram. Are either of those dramatically different services post-purchase?
Seems like Facebook will try to keep their hands off of what is currently in development. They might take some of the engineering to develop more specialized or differently marketed devices, but they seem to be alright at not skinning the companies they buy.
A GTX 6 series will run LFS alright, but it's not super future proof. If there's the ability to get a 760 or 770, you'll be able to play more recent games as well.
To put it into perspective, I have a 760, and can run LFS across 3 screens with reasonable FPS (>100FPS).
