I think I counted 7 aspect ratio changes in the first 90 seconds. The overlay of the LFS logo onto the cinema screen was very poor. The tracking job was so poor, the guy who edited it should not have bothered. It would have looked better. The song choice was bad too. The original mix of "open your eyes" would have been much better. and drifting looks much better if it's done round corners!

Have you opened the config file and tried changing it there?

Swype can be a curse sometimes. You expect all devices to have it. But they don't. Have you updated yours to ICS yet? The face recognition to unlock is handy, but a bit hit/miss.

Still early in the season, but that was the best match so far. Great match to watch. Man city didn't look like they could win it at any stage.

It was a great display from everton. It should also open a few eyes in the other teams. Everton were the better team on the day. It's the first game of the season so you can't really judge the teams performance for at least 3 games. imho.

come on guys. Lets not turn another thread into a flame-fest. LFS will never be the same as it used to be. This isn't LFS' fault, our gaming tastes change through time. The reason I stopped playing was because all the guy/gals I enjoyed racing against slowly drifted away. Again, this is just down to peoples tastes changing.
LFS is still one of the best sims out there. I'm sure the "new" users are having just as much fun as the older drivers did when they were rookies to LFS.
I agree with Franky.S. There is still so much for people to explore but it's down to you to actually explore it. I've not set as many PB's as i'd like with various combinations, but all in good time.

You guys are forgetting that UTD lost the season by one goal, in the last 3 minutes of the season. And this was an average team apparently. Rooney isn't past it either. Last season everyone was saying he was having a shit season, but he still finished one of the top goal scorers. He's just not getting the quality balls that ronaldo and giggs used to supply him. Valencia will be better this season so the quality on the right side will start to return. Nani needs to get his finger out and become more of a team player.

B, Why do you think your opinion still matters on this forum?

Yes and no.. A £300 2.0 setup will always sound better than a £16 simply because of the quality of the components used.
Combining mids and bass into one speaker will never be better than separate modules for each band. Bass should be as low to the ground as possible. Mids and top, ear level. You can't do that with 2.0. When possible try to keep your bands/frequencies separate. Bass (good bass) can be felt (omnidirectional) and doesn't need to be at ear level. Mids and tops however, they work best if kept at ear level. This is because these frequencies don't travel through surfaces as well as the bass frequencies would. If your bass is coming from the same place as your mids and top, you lose quality due to the mids and bass frequency fluctuation from a single diaphram.
A 2.1 setup gives more volume at the same level too. Did you also know that if you put two subs next to each other, you triple the bass output?

But for £16 for a the 2.1 units i'm using, are still much better than 2.0 in a similar price range. It's pretty pointless us arguing like a couple of audiophiles when the system in question is only £16 lol.

Good job. I have Logitech 2.1 speakers, and to be honest, they are much better than any 2.0 set I've bought at the same price (£16).
Not the best sounding speakers in the world, but compared to 2.0 they're miles better. Even better than most ipod/,mp3 docking stations too.
