here a test with neon light tubes





easy to make in max.
make a cylinder, with material make it high self illumination and set your colour, take a omni place it in the tube the more the better its looks, makes those omnis equal to each other (copy with instance) and give them all a low multiplier, low shadow map size and high shadow map sample range.

My test result with the light.
i know the front wheel looks not good, i'am on it,

I know the weels do not turn in the corner (next time)
