I think i have what seems to be a bug or idk
It's like this : if i go on single player mode i can see mod list and download and drive..
But when online its a different story.. When i join a server with mods i can see players driving mod vehicles around while spectating but when i pit and get into garage to drive a mod it starts downloading all mods over again although they are downloaded alredy as players are using them and i can see it.. But neither i can select a mod from mod list nor from installed list.. It just keeps trying to download it but never actually do. I am not sure whats wrong here
Steering Angle and clutch in FWD and 4x4 cars

Front Wheel Drive cars in lfs (mostly xfg fxo uf1 ufr) have a really low clutch life, u can literally burn your clutch while sliding it sideways for a little time ... Maybe a more durability will be just perfect.

However the ONLY 4×4 car in lfs wich is the RB4, aside from having a bad clutch durability aswell , it has a very low steering angle..
Since its the only car that you can customize its drivetrain to be either 4WD,FWD or RWD it's really helpful that if it had more steering angle And a better clutch .
Focusing on RB4 here, as u literally can use to offroad, race and Drift.

Hopefully we see some improvement in near future ..¿
sorry if this was discussed before but did my best to find if it is.

Quote from Ibtasim6781 :That option is available if you select Wheel / Joystick and then go to the Axes/FF tab.

If you are wondering about it, assigning Mouse X for Steering when Wheel / Joystick is selected doesn't make any difference from the regular mouse option except for the steering not centering when pressing T to type a message.

Definitely will try that, thanks!

Quote from rane_nbg :There is a mouse sensitivity option in version 6V. Options/controls/axes then under available axes you can adjust mouse X and Y sens. It starts from 0.5 and maxes out at 20, with a step of 0.1

If that is not enough range for you, you can always change windows mouse sensitivity.

PS. I just realized that yesterday was 10 full years since I joined this forum and had a total of 10 posts Smile

Are you sure there's an option? Because literally i can't find anything in options that have to do with axes..
I use mouse for steering, all i have of options is "steer center reduction" as for mouse

Steering sensitivity

as many of us use mouse as steering method, actually after the update 6V we kinda find it harder.. Feels like the steering sensitivity has been raised and.. these new steering animations are making it hard for me as i didn't got used to it yet lol..
I hope a "mouse sensitivity" option can be added soon.
Strange things

Quote from Scawen :Hello Racers,

We are pleased to announce a new update with a lot of new features, fixes and improvements. This is not the graphics update we have been talking about in recent progress reports. This one still uses the same physics system as the public version it replaces, but allows a wider range of setup options for some of the cars.

We have had requests over the years to allow more possibilities for rallycross and drifting. We were able to implement these changes by making a new version that could not connect online with the old version. Wider steering angles and a wide range of tyres are now possible on the GTR cars by selecting a new ALTERNATE configuration in the setup screen. This also allows some interesting possibilities for hard track racing as narrower tyres can be selected, which can help when creating lower powered racing classes for some events.

As we were making an incompatible version, it was a good opportunity to improve the prediction system that allows you to see remote cars driving on your screen. Every car's position, velocity, fuel load, damage and so on are transmitted frequently to all the other racers on a server. We have used various methods to make this information more accurate so the cars appear to move more smoothly. We were also able to improve some things about pit stops. For example you can now change tyres without being forced to repair body or suspension damage.

There are really a lot of updates in this version and we can't describe them all in detail in this news item. Please do have a look at the list of changes on the 0.6V information page. They include improvements for force feedback, controls including steering wheels and handbrake, more layout objects, VR, views, InSim and OutSim.

Read all about this update and how to install it on the Live for Speed version 0.6V page.

Hello, thanks for the update.. But there's a bit of things wich is unpleasant tbh. Like the new steering animations its actually kinda weird and causes headache XD,
And as a user who usually use mouse steering i really struggle with the new animation beside the rise of the sensitivity of steering..
My points is , can we have an option where to set own preference of mouse sensitivity. That would be helpful alot, and if we can choose between the new and old steering animations maybe?
Thank you for your time and hard work.
