When I was that age I used to collect empty soda and beer bottles (especially around party places the day after a party), and delivering them to a store for deposit money.

Quote from jayhawk :I had this problem too, with the RB4. But not with the XRT! I think the factor is the physical layout of the track; you go down hill, then slightly uphill, and the forces compressing the front suspension meddle with the brakes.

Now that you mention it, it does seem to happen more in some places than others.

I know, I know. We run vBulletin on our team forum, and I first discovered it there. It's a pretty neat feature. Ajax rules!

Lol, doesn't work anymore. I can only do it in our BOTT league forum section now.

Sorry for revealing it.
Renaming threads

Not a bug, but couldn't find a better place to post.

Just found that moderators or thread starters can rename thread titles simply by double clicking somewhere in the thread title table.

Thanks devs for a job well done!

Time for you now to grow back the lost hair during bug fixing.

Quote from Ricerguy :ah wait...since u say recently how about this solution, Maybe you acceldly turned something off that helps with your braking such as the brake help under ESC>Player>brake help ON/off ?

Brake help on will surely help with the cut problem. But real men doesn't use brake help. Well, I'll admit I do in certain situations if I find it's better . I however lowered the brake strength a tad so the cut effect isn't so dominant.

Drops to 1000 rpm and it's with locked diff. Using Flotch set from Inferno.

Lowering the brake strength helps a bit. Only problem is I then have to brake earlier, so those coming up behind me is in for a little surprise.
Engine cut->unsteerable car during braking

Okay, this is really driving me nuts. First off, I'm driving using a mouse. Lately I've been driving on the bug test server set for BL1/TBO, and have been using the FXO. Every time I approaches T1, I get off the throttle, brakes and shift down through 4th 3rd and 2nd gear. Now, when getting to 3rd and 2nd gear I get an effect best described as engine cut, and the car gets completely unsteerable. I have to panicly press the mouse button to apply throttle in order for the car to be steerable again. Often leading to a really crappy line through the corner. Of course, this affects lap times negatively.

Is this something that only happens for mouse users, or does wheel users experience the same thing?

Quote from Doorman :As small request if I may. Can you put the 'Mark forums read' button on the main top bar along with the 'New posts' etc.? It would be a little more convenient there. Thanks.

Mmm, this is probably in the wrong place. Misread the heading as 'suggestionS'

Hehe, I can help you with that anyway. That function is in the Quick Links menu, so you will have to do 2 clicks instead of 1.

Actually, I think 2 columns will be just fine and not much longer than the current layout. You can look here for a live demo. Current font size set to 10px. Those with cheap CRTs can check if it's readable.

New version of the sub-forums mod released. Now you can change the CSS attributes used. In the sample image I'm attaching I've changed the font to 7pt Arial.

Actually, 5 out 13 members in Fusion are from Australia, making the majority of the team European. So if something is bad for the Europeans in the other teams, surely that would apply to the Europeans in our team as well?

I still maintain my opinion of a start late in the evening, mostly because I'm an old man and doesn't go out drinking every weekend anymore.

Chill down guys. The time is not final, Josh is just asking for opinions. But anyway, and sadly, no matter what time is suggested it will suck for some people. Personally, I would like it to take place as late as possible in the evening, so it would not be too early for the Australians and should be manageable by the Americans to join also. But of course, if the majority of drivers signing up only have drinking and partying on their mind every Saturday evening, then we have a problem.
