At first i was thinking cool but then i learned its practically a destruction derby where they destroy almost new nissan 350/370z's around what looks like a drift course. illepall
Apparently they have a secret backer?? Yeah right it sounds as dodgy as they come, maybe the serious fraud squad should be taking a look at their finances!

Fed up of virtual motorsport, always wanted to go racing for real?
Well look no further than Sprinting & Hillclimbing one of the cheapest forms of motorsport in the UK & abroad.

Competitors compete against the clock on a closed course. Shelsely Walsh being one of the most famous venues. With machinery ranging from classic mini's to hybrid single seaters that could out run F1 cars, there is a class for everyone.

How can i get involved? i hear you ask. Well i have the answer right here. The car i competed in last season is up for hire for an event or you could buy it off me & run the whole season. Contact me for more details.

Dont worry it was just one of those things, it involved an english man & an aussie who both must have been half asleep at the time. It was quite bizarre, i watched it back like ten times & the English guy still wouldn't admit that he did anything wrong.

Oh jeez, i was all looking forward to the new season & getting my A licence but in true iRacing fashion computer says NO!. Take my advice & dont race with the aussies/japs @ 3pm in the afternoon. I was mid pack coming off T1, saw an accident started to slow 'bang' some one thought they would keep going flat out despite a car spinning down the track out of control :doh:. Half the field got wrecked & this was a road race.

Will you be representing england Dave in the club finals? They could use a few more quick division 1 drivers.

I went as a friend had some free tickets. There was a noticeable increase in sim racing around the place. 5 or 6 stands running static cockpits + iRacing were there.(i got a free cap) Also a company with a whole group of rigs setup 3 triple screen rigs up front flanked by 4 single screen rigs allowing seven player racing action for the public to watch & have a go.

Various fast lap competitions with decent prizes. one being a trip to a 24hr race in the states. I also witnessed a beast of a motion simulator, which moved a driving platform via three enormous hydraulic rams, this thing was huge. You could have put a house on top of that thing & it would have kept on going. Unfortunately the queuing was disorganized & my frequent visits did not yield results.

I have found SR to be very important as it is the biggest leveler in the overall standings. For instance drivers with 3xxx irating are mixed in with 4xxx & 5xxx rated drivers purely because of the difference in SR. I'm not sure what they can do to improve it but the current system favors those who have been iRacing the longest.

update: i now have it working apart from the text is all blurry & it chops off the bottom of the screen so i cant use task bar . I have created some custom reso's & fiddled with nvidia control panel but still cant see or use the task bar.

any ideas?
