HADIMRSKA SPORT

The Hadimrska was an affordable small car made in Czechoslovakia between 1931 and 1948. It was cheap and noisy, but technically advanced, easy to maintain and tough vehicle. Mounted with an air-cooled 4-cylinder engine, 4-wheel brakes, 4-speed non-synchronized gearbox a robust backbone-chassis and a rack-and-pinion steering, Hadimrska was the people's choice back in the days of the great depression. A completely independent suspension (quite rare at the time) used transverse semi-elliptical leaf springs and enabled faster cruise speeds on potholed roads.

The 1936 sport 4-seater bodywork belongs to the rare variants used by Czechoslovak police.

It is definitely not the fastest LFS mod out there, but should be physically accurate. Because of the independent suspension, this is one of a few 1930s cars which can be simulated in the LFS, without some rough approximations of solid axles. This car is mostly dedicated to LFS fans with an interest in some realistic historical cruising.

Racing history
Despite the low engine power, the cars competed in multiple famous racing events such as Coupe des Alpes, Rallye Monte Carlo and 1000 Miles of Czechoslovakia.

So yes, it can be raced, but be careful. Even if the speed may seem ridiculous, racing these machines on slower twisty roads and rally tracks requires an extremely smooth input. Back in the time, it was not easy to handle cars on the limit.

Tips from the owners manual
- Beware of an over-steer as the car does not have any self centering effect.
- Beware, the swing axle is prone to flip over, especially when more modern tires are equipped.
- The first gear is reduced. Normally, use the second gear to start moving.
- The gearbox is not synchronized. Use the double-clutch technique when down-shifting.
- Maintain the lubrication intervals of the key components.
- The original car had a steering wheel on the right side, but the mod enables both configurations.
- Wiper can be used using the following command: /light extra toggle
