Tonight was a test of nerves and consistency, and Skinny rose to that challenge by taking an exciting win in race one, and an awe inspiring win in race three when he lapped the entire field to take 30 points and an additional 80kg in success ballast.
The dbp driver kept his cool in race 1 as Flip made a cruicial mistake on the backstraight chicane on the custom layout circuit, forcing him to take to the grass. However he still managed to secure a fantastic 2nd place and went on to take a solid 3rd in race three, despite serious engine trouble.
A driver who had a suprising result was the new dbp recruit Kringle, who took the win in race 2, and finished 2nd with a heafty 95kg in ballast. On the downside he had a collision in race 1, positioning him 4th, and that he now has to carry 105kg in ballast.
Another driver who really shone with consistency was Bozo who came 3rd, 4th, 3rd in the three rounds, and has really been a persistant force in the championship tables. Great things are expected of him this season.
Looking towards the championship standings and Kringle is slowly pulling out a lead of 39 points over dbp Bozo who he himself has a comfortable lead of 13 points over Stoney who's only 2 points behind ATC Bandit. But remember there's still time for that order to be turned completely on it's head.
