ESL Sports Pre Season Cup Race#1

Dear Live for Speed Community,
the first Race of the Live for Speed ESL Sports Pre Season Cup has passed on last Monday with a fantastic Race in 3 Grids with each 26 Drivers. The Track-Combination was Aston National with the UF GTR or the XF GTR. There have been advantages for each car in the different parts of the track so that it wasnt easy to choose the best and personal favorite car. The Pre Season Cup has 2 races on each event with a duration of 30 Minutes. For the second race the Top 8 are tourned round to provide a lot action and tension on the Track.

In Grid1 it was Phil Rose from #low-racing who was able to take the Pole-Position in front of his teammates Markus Gunzelmann and Johannes Scheuerle. During the race lots drivers were crashing in the last chicane by flipping the car on the high curbs. At the end Johannes Scheuerle of #low-racing was able to win both races with a very strong performance. Markus Gunzelmann took overall 2nd place by finishing 2nd in race1 and 3rd in race2. Sebastian Seybold from SK Gaming completes the podium with an overall 3rd place by finishing 8th in race1 and 2nd in race2. Phil Rose who took the Pole-Position flipped his car in the 2nd race and so couldnt score any points.
In Grid2 it was Jens Wand of RAPTOR Gaming who took the Pole-Position in front of Markus Blohm from AGM Racing and teammate Kevin Gross. In this race no big crashs happened during the first few laps and it has been a very close and thrilling race until the end. Some guys hit the tyres at the end of the last chicane. Dominik Möhrle from RAPTOR Gaming profits of the mistakes of the other drivers and finished the first race in 1st position. Markus Blohm from AGM Racing and Clemens Piotrowski from Factory Phantom Racing were able to score the points for the 2nd and 3rd place. In the 2nd Race it was Maik Lehnert from F1RST Racing who could win the race with an impressive strong and fast pace. René Tiefenbach scores points for the 2nd place in front of Clemens Piotrowski. The overall win in Grid2 goes to Maik Lehnert by finishing 6th in race and 1st in race2. René Tiefenbach was able to become 2nd overall by finishing 4th in race1 and 2nd in race2.
In Grid3 Marco Jendryczko could beat Thomas Grün and Stefan Rommerskirchen for the Pole-Position. The overall win in Grid3 goes to Thomas Grün by finishing 1st in race1 and 4th in race2. The 2nd position goes to Sven Nienhues by finishing 3rd in both races. Rainer Dicks took the overall 3rd place by winning one race and with a 7th place.
