FBM + FOX Multiclass racing
A proof-of-concept for a multiclass race series with Formula XR (FOX) and Formula BMW FB02 (FBM).
Format:
- Open qualifying: 10 minutes for FBM, 3 mins break, 10 minutes for FOX.
- Race: aiming for 45 mins in given lap count, pit mandatory (no work required)
Qualifying rule: you can only use one car. If you complete a lap with FBM during the first 10 minutes, that car is locked in for you for the round, you no longer can attempt a FOX lap in Q. In race, you must use the car you qualify with.
Points, for each class respectively:
- 1st: 35
- 2nd: 30
- 3rd: 26
- 4th: 23
- 5th: 21
- 6th: 19
- 7th: 17
- 8th: 15
- 9th: 13
- 10th: 11
- 11th: 10
- 12th: 9
- 13th: 8
- 14th: 7
- 15th: 6
- 16th: 5
- 17th: 4
- 18th: 3
- 19th: 2
- 20th: 1
No extra points for pole positions or fastest laps.
