The online racing simulator
Just some random things I'd like cleared up.
I was going to send this off to Scawen, but as he seems to not want to be able to receive private messages from his adoring public. I though I'd post this here so that he could see it, and that I could get the thoughs of the community on these issues.

Quote from Dygear :First off, linux support. Do you plan on doing a pure linux client any time soon, or for that matter a pure linux server. I really don't like running cedega / wine for any reasion.

Second, is there a 64bit build coming down the pieline anytime soon? I'd love to see it, I do think I'd see quite a large increase in FPS as it would not have to go through WOW64.

Third and finally. OutGuage I had noticed that you allow the use of seeing the clients fule load, is there any way that the end user's client could be setup in such a way that would allow 3rd parties to connect to their client via insim to get the OutGuage infomation. I'd like to know this as SimFIA's F1 Championship Team Principles are really in the dark about how much fule load their driver has and they'd very much like to know them selfs with out having to bother the driver.

Thanks mate, I'll let you get back to your work,
Dygear.

2. 64Bit support I don't think will be never supported. Too many still use 32Bit to convert to 64Bit and too much hassle to support both and from what I read the perfomance is actually worse than 32Bit. If you didn't know, LFS still uses DX8.1, why do you think it would convert to 64Bit, in my mind, for no reason? From what people posted on this forum LFS works perfectly on XP64Bit and Vista?
