After the successful year of 2019,also this year the World Class Lions team offers sponsorship for both RTFR and RTFR XL. The sponsorship model has been simplified - the prizes for individual rounds have been dropped and prizes for positions in standings have been increased in both amount and recipients count. Sponsorship also includes covering costs for event server rental - this money has already been received and will cover costs for both RGE servers in 2020. For yearly standings the same points system will be used as in the evergoing rating system - for full details hower mousepointer over rating sheet's green colored title bar,here are the links to both spreadsheets: RTFR and RTFR XL. Unlike last year,this year all 25 races in RTFR and all 12 races in RTFR XL will count towards yearly standings,while there is an extra prize in each event for driver with best finishing percentage through out the year.
Before the year 2019 the average attendance in normal RTFR was just over 14 drivers per event,but during the 2019 the attendance was 18.5 drivers per event,while in the longer RTFR version these figures were accordingly 14 and 16.5 - this proves that interest for racing in these tuesday races has grown noticably. In terms of races there will be no changes - normal RTFR will be run mostly in standard cofigurations and custom cofigurations close to standard while having few different custom layouts in the mix. In RTFR XL the combo choice will be awarded to race winner again,while noone will be allowed chose more than 2 times in row and more than 4 times during the calendar year (the last rule is the only change for this year).
First race this year will be in the first tuesday of the year - in 7th january the normal length RTFR will start it's semi-weekly schedule,while 1st RTFR XL of the year will take place in 28th january and return every 4 weeks. Both events have been entered into lfs.net racing calendar,where the combos will be updated as soon as possible - the combo for first RTFR will be posted this sunday,while the combo for first RTFR XL has been already decided soon after the previous race. Info about each event will be posted in this forum subsection as it was always done previously in the information threads.
