Suggestions when buying a new laptop, PC or building your own.
I think I am buying a new PC or a laptop or building my own. But my specs are:

Intel Core i7/i5 (Quad cores ONLY)
8gb of ram
1tb of storage with SSD
2GB and up nVidia GeForce graphics
15.6" and up screen (Laptops Only) or 22" and up 1080p-2160p screen

What do you think?
..
Ok, but I want to show me a modern pc/laptop to buy/build* here.

*I am living in Egypt and the prices are in LE/EGP so use money apps that know how equal your money to something else like EGP to USD. Thanks.
Why no replies?

There are rich people even in somalia ya know ? there is even people who can buy rediculously pricy GTX1080 day one in those country when 90% of people get payed only 5$ per day.

Anyway do not go for a laptop if you only going to gaming, build you own pc piece by piece, so you will get something more powerful and futurproof.
I know desktop is best, but I had a hp and got at times 100+ fps.
Ok, I haven't tried it before despite I'm a Egyptian, but youtube how to build pc videos help.
OK, intel i7, uber motherboard, DDR 4, 16 or 32 gig, etc,......

The expensive question is;
Nvidia 1080 - NZ$1399.00
Nvidia 980 Ti NZ$ 900.00
(I can get a good car for these prices)
Do check the link, it's sort of local Smile

AMD 480 NZ$ 470.00
(EXPECTED NZ PRICE ONLY)

But, allowing for some variation, the AMD 480 should perform like a Nvidia 980..........

Budget and what will you use it for?
Not over $5750 but using for VMs as I started to learn, and some gaming suitable for me as I am 13.25 years old.
However I only have lfs demo. Can mods work for lfs demo?
You're not allowed to talk about mods here. At all. Ever.
I know.
Well, you do now...
But....max budget is 5750 usd

As of now, anything to do??
Ok, US 5750 is NZ$ 8361.21....

With that budget, how are you having a problem. Shrug

This review is a bit old but here's an $8000 US computer running triple Nvidia 980's

With your budget, latest hot i7, 32 Gig DDR4, Nvidia Ti 1080 (SLI may be ott atm), water cooled everything, LED Bling and gold plated case, you should still be well under budget.....
Good luck guys.
