I am finally ready to get back into LFS since 2006. I did purchase the version at the time but since then I dont have that info. IS there someone I can contact about this? I was able to retrieve my account information but not information about the purchase, even though my account does indicate I purchased it in 2006.

But if you look under your forum name it says "Demo licensed" so seems like you remembered some login, but only to a demo account.

Thanks for the reply, It does say demo but it does say I may a transaction. I have sent them an email to ask what I did 8 years ago, hehe.

Just send the Dev's an email, as you have. Probably your forum and LFS logon details were different then. Also, possibly, your email address that you used to licence LFS.

8 years is a long time if you don't hold your bank or email info. If the Dev's have a record that you didn't keep then your in luck.

Important Note to Everyone:- Please record your game info though, as if you update your PC it's always worth keeping this sort of information. Steam, Origan, iStore, or GOG, are good examples of the importance of keeping your 'cloud' licencing details.

And, to be honest, there really is no excuse for not having this info backed up.

Yes, 'just..,' 'but..,' 'only..,' 'the dog ate,' 'act of 'god'' etc are excuses for not doing so, but please ensure you have backups of important information. Just write down your login/passwords so you don't need to hope that someone else has done this for you. And if you don't do this, PLEASE do not blame another party for YOUR failure if they can't find your information.
