GT1WS 2013: Round 5 LIVE STREAM 6h of South City Long, 9 March 17:55 UTC

After an entire month to recover from the challenging 24 Hours of Kyoto Ring Grand Prix Long, the drivers and teams of the GT1 World Series return to the track, this time to the tight confines of the South City Long street circuit. This circuit is designed to be like a track using streets near London. The armco is always there, overtaking is a premium. It favors cars that can take corners fast, such as the FXO GTR (FXR). The FXR is usually under-powered on the other circuits, with their longer straights showing how much of a straight-line speed disadvantage the FXR has over its competitor makes the XR GTR (XRR) and FZ50 GTR (FZR).

ineX Racing is coming off of their 3rd straight win of the season, in a dominating show in the 24 Hours race, fighting back from controller issues, connection issues, penalties, and mistakes to win handily. They have a 46 point lead heading into the final two rounds of the season, and one of them is 1.5 times the points of a standard race, so a bad race from ineX this round can blow the lot wide open if the chasing teams capitalize properly.

Expect tight racing and frustration taking its toll as drivers try to overtake but get held up with the tight confines. Join Chris Wilkinson, Steven Martin, and others as they bring you flag-to-flag coverage of the race, with coverage starting around 17:55 UTC (18:55 CET) on simrace.tv Stream 3
