Discourse: Forum Software Done Right?
Discourse is a new type of Forum software in the vein of Stack Exchange, from some of the creators of Stack Exchange.

I recomend stop reading this thread, and trying it out for yourself first. Then come back here and discuss.

Victor, I think this is what you are looking for in forum software.
Looking at it.. I don't think it's what this forum needs. It feels too much like a bug-tracker, not a forum (as people expect).

I think it'd be too complex for a lot of people. Look at here.. it's as structured and laid out as possible.. but people post in the wrong place.

It's slow to load, and looks terrible.
I don't see what's wrong with vbulletin from a user's point of view.
It's horrid (Dicourse, not vBulletin)

I've not used a forum yet that is better than vB. I especially don't like things with rotating circles to indicate some sort of loading, because they invariably take ages.
Tristan! Did you take a wrong turn somewhere? How did you end up in programmers forum?!
