Hi,
For the past couple of months, on the lfs forums, this error appears when I click something. (Usually a thread.) Pressing the refresh button works, but it is getting a bit annoying.

I get that on quite a few websites. Assumed it was just due to my slow internet
I also get this error now and then, happens only at LFSForum.
Are you all using Chrome?

I did not get any problem on Firefox.

I never got any problems like it on FF so I think it is Chrome specific. Happens most to me on Batracer and The Student Room, only fairly rarely on here. Refresh always works.
I've got disproportionate amounts of this on Chrome and Chromium. Occasionally I have to press a link a second time in FF, but I don't get any timeouts as such.
Perhaps this is related : http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=21675

As that report states it only happens on https connections, did you guys check that detail? (it's possible to browse this forums with https, so perhaps Gougoodthing was doing just that - you could always manually change the url to use regular http://www.lfsforum.net/

EDIT - it's an old report, I know, but browse down - some people report that bug is back again)
I do not use the https thing for the url for the lfs forums. I have the lfs forums on the bookmark, and when I click the bookmark, this is the url.

If it happens again, I will tell you.
Scawen said they were having server troubles a few weeks ago, could possibly be that? It's been a while, but I've noticed recently that the forum (LFSW / Master Server) would take a while to load (20-30 seconds, rather than instantly). I'll see if I can find his post.

Edit: found it.

Quote from Scawen :I just noticed our servers having internet trouble again. Forum, LFS.net, LFS World and master server were not accessible from my location for a few minutes. A dip in the online graph suggests that's not just me.

This bug is still happening... :/

It has been happening for a couple of months.
