"Electrical car battery and 12v ~100cfm fan -setup" questions/advice.
Finally, I have a scrappy furnace(in both senses), a pyrometer and the last piece, some monetary means.

The Plan™ so far is to buy a 12v 12Ah car battery (€36/$43) and a 12v, 55w, psi = not specified, flow: 2,8 m3/min (~100cfm ) engineroom-fan (€17/$20). It aught to suffice for my application both now and further down the road.

Questions:
A) Can one simply hook that fan straight to the poles on the battery? Without any risk of losing the fan and/or the battery or anything dear in the process?
B) What about the fans air-pressure? Any suggestions?
C) I doubt I can get ahold of these parts anything cheaper, at least the battery. I tried my search-fu on ebay but I could not find any cheaper fan.
D) Suggestions on improvements? Thoughts otherwise?

Thanks in advance!

Weird topic but yes you can.

Buy a car battery and engine bay fan from a car scrapyard and you are basically done. Car engine bay fans have a lot of air displacement. Build something like this before in my previous house to suck cool air into the room. Quite noisy though
