Dear LFS Users,

On Saturday the 27th of August, Team Rock Racing will organize their biggest event so far, the CM Storm 250 !

During this event, we will be driving 84 laps (250KM) with the RAC @ KY1.This event is part of the -TRR- Championship 2011, but this event is special.

For this event, the qualification will be on the Friday before.


Time scheme:

Tuesday the 2nd:
1st Practise: 19:30 BST

Wensday the 10th:
2nd Practise: 19:30 BST

Tuesday the 16th:
3rd Practise: 19:30 BST

Friday the 26th:
4th Free Practice: 16:00 BST
Qualification: 19:30 BST

Saturday the 27th:
Race: 19:30 BST


We currently have 15 sign-up's, from now on it's possible to sign-up from living everywhere in the world, and you only have to have attended to 1 practise session!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you wonder what’s so special about this event, well let me tell you.

Cooler Master Netherlands has offered 3 hardware awards for the top 3 finishers! The awards are as following:
1: CM Storm Enforcer case & CM Storm Spawn mouse
2: CM Storm Enforcer case
3: CM Storm Sentinel Z3RO-G mouse
4: CM Storm Inferno mouse
5: CM Storm Spawn mouse
Winner of the award, pays for sending costs.

We have organized this event to give extra attention to the CM Storm brand from Cooler Master. CM Storm is a brand for gaming hardware… From cases to gaming mouses! All these products are from high quality and have an awesome look.

Well you HAVE to attend to at least 2 practise sessions. And to encourage people to attend to the practises, we give 4 points per practise. Then the race will have points for the first 10 finishers, and then the overall standings will declare te winner.

Rules are still being made, points system is already known, but not posted yet. However I'll post it right away.

The Draft and Overtaking rules:


4. Drafting & Overtaking
4.1 Drafting (Slipstreaming) is allowed during race ONLY!
4.1.1 Not following these rule can result in a penalty.
4.2 Bump drafting is NOT allowed.
4.2.1 Not following these rule can result in a penalty.
4.3 Every overtaking action should be done cleanly and without any contact.
4.3.1 When you cause someone to spin or lose control whilst you overtake that person, you MUST give that position back, regardless of how many positions you lose.
4.3.2 Exceptions are:
The car has rolled, or the car does not move.
4.P Penalties will only be given after protest.
