Is this a laptop? Or an old desktop PC ?

Laptops are usually fairly bad for gaming.

Click "next page"(near the bottom) and run the "test direct draw" tests
You should read "no problems found" in the dialog box.

an update of your SiS drivers and/or using dx9c (OS dependant) could help, but I'm not sure.

Good luck.

SD.
laptop, i was hoping to be able to play it with everything turned down
I cant see any tests to run?

Also apparently my graphics card drivers are up to date

thanks in advance
Keep pressing next page until you see this ....

I already have and all the answers seem to be specific to machines or cards

thanks

edit: I thought you meant google the initial problem, installing updtaes now
Installed all outstanding updates with no luck
You should look for the UniVGA5 graphics driver, is it available on SiS website in Download Center. It cannot be linked directly, but finding it there is no big deal.
