Sure I'll record a preview and post a link when its up

Could you explain how to launch it
Launch it? you mean Open the program by double clicking the exe and then press 'Home' to activate..
Making sure that the car and rpm have values, showing that its connected...

I recommend the OutGauge version becuase the other is still quite buggy and less safe (no that it isn't safe its just not as accurate)

I am making what you said.. open it launching it (i tried both of the versions...) and nothing is there a need to change some values of the cfg or idk it just says car XXX rpm XXX
Well the non-outgauge version only works with z28

the OutGauge version would need the cfg settings changed
try..

Quote :OutGauge Mode 2
OutGauge Delay 1
OutGauge IP 127.0.0.1
OutGauge Port 35555
OutGauge ID 1

Damn i want this Can you help me ? I am launching lfs... then i minimize it.. then i launch rev limiter... IT ask me to allow or to block the aplication.. i say allow using.. then this
Why the aplication can't read the ram adres?
Attached images
Untitled-1 copy.jpg
It wont read RAM address' because the version you use in the SS you posted is the OutGauge version.. Make sure the port settings are correct etc

Just now the RAM reading version seems its not working properly...
Now that you seem to be online: can you explain why it isnt working for me.

It notices the car, but RPM stays at 0 and nothing happens in the game.. :?

Non-Outgauge Version?? I know it seems its not working atm...
I'll be fixing it and post it pretty soon

Default port is 35555.. the cfg you can use

Ive tried both versions :L
I just want to get the rev limiter work
it is working now wohoo but can't make it work all the time it just bounce 1 time and the engine turn off that happens in all the variations of the options idk how to make it bouncing more than 1 time before turn of the engine
I really have no idea why sometimes it will work with some people and others it wont...

I think I fixed the non-outgauge version
Download Here: RevLimV2.1 (RPM's update when enabled)

Edit:

Its to do with the timers, sometimes it will happen with me. I use a 140 millisecond timer which seems ok but will occasionally stall...
I need to figure a way to start the engine if it does stall.. Maybe a way that LFS can report if the engine is running or not??
i believe it is how fast your computer can register key presses.

i used this program in my 2003 gateway, and i had to use the slowest posible setting (may be a different program for same thing)

now i have a very fast computer and it works perfectly. so what are the specs and processing speed of the people who it doesnt work for
I was coming to ask how many times it goes out of sync, but seeing last post...I'll change my question.

With LFSRevLimiter, this depends on how many cores your processor has.
A friend of mine have just one and it stalls abou 50% of the times.
I had 2 cores, and normally it stalled 1 time each 2 or 3 laps.
Now, I have 3 cores and it stalled 2 times in 4 days.

Maybe you could find this information useful
