Halp! Home Cinema Question
Hi,
I've got a little problem.
My parents just bought a home cinema system with integrated DVD player. The problem is that we don't get any sound through the speakers when we watch tv, only when u watch a DVD.
I've read somewhere that u'll need an optical cable. Is this true?

You'll need some sort of cable to connect the TV to the Home Cinema System. You can use Optical if you want.
What TV do you have? And what Home Cinema System do you have?
Rtfm!
My Home Cinema DVD Player has a Auxiliary (Aux) mode on it which allows us to play TV sound through the surround... Now yea obv you will need some sort of cable from the TV to the DVD player whether it be optical (like me) or a plain old audio cable...
