Quote from Fuse5 :so you like neurofunk& newer techstep
what the **** is darkstep though

Darkstep ,like You see in offspring's name is darker sounding and also it doesn't always have deep bassline ,Mate Nowadays genres are having barely blind differences ,sometimes one is only faster than second and that makes other genre. I guess for 20 years if most artists will have their own style ,they will call that is other genre.

thats the main problem though
every time someone comes up with a random fusion genre they just suffix it with -step and call it their sound, and suddenly become a 'pioneer' at it....
while in all fairness, its still shit

oh well

i still did not understand what you mean by darkstep though, give me some examples.

So listen to these two songs. First is good old essence of drum & bass ,second darkstep. You will hear big difference here.
