My record on BL1 with XFG is about 1:36: xx something.I guess,that 1:34: xx to 1:37 is very good time for a racer.

driving with a gamepad is not as bad as you think. there's plenty of drivers in this forum who can drive at wr pace using nothing more than a PS2 pad.

I think a decent pace is medium-low 1:34's. 1:34:00 - 1:33:5x very fast pace. 1:33:5x to 1:33:3x talent + lots of practice, 1:33:3x to 1:33:00 - talent + lots and lots of practice + alienness.

1.34.49 here though I do have 741 laps that is from the dawn of time though

Shouldn't be TOO hard to do.

I had 15 mins and a few laps about half an hour ago and couldnt get under a 1:41.

I was crap to start with, now im rusty as well!

Man, my best ever is still well into the 1:37s. I can't break 1:38 with my pad. I really miss having a wheel, LFS just isn't right with anything else

I actually found myself much faster using my old xbox joypad rather than keys or mouse once i found the analogue steer smooth option it helped a lot.

Was doing low 1.34xx and im really not very good

I hardly race at all any more and I just did a 1:38.83 after seven laps. Been around with LFS since the very beginning, I'm just not a very good fast driver.

Find some people who are about your speed and have fun with them. Don't worry about being the fastest, just enjoy it. If you blow away everyone in a race, where's the fun in that? You've got no competition, then.

I agree, I have no desire to be the quickest and am happy racing the people around me. I was just interested what people thought was a respectable time
