You will need an edited uxtheme.dll file to install 3rd party themes, info can be found here...

already done with vistaglazz i think. i actually have an theme in use, but i dont get why i can use some themes and some i cant?? its the same file but doesnt appear in the setups window..

E: got it now thanks for the link to the forum

the style folder was named wrong

media player is winamp, dock is rocketdock, messenger is miranda.
just fiddled with the skin of the latter...

After 2 hours trying, I gave up and decided to ask. How do I install themes and change everything on Miranda just as you did? I tried doing it but looks like a complete mess. I've installed mydetails plugin (not unicode) and modern client list plugin (unicode) but it looks like shit, and is very buggy.
