$5 to spend on steam.
So i have $10 NZD (about $5 USD) left on a prezzy card and its gotta be used before the end of the month so im wondering if someone can recommend a cheap game on steam? Im looking at the first 2 and a bit pages here http://store.steampowered.com/ ... sort_order=ASC&page=1 and Xpand Rally is the only one that stands out. Is this game any good? What about GTI Racing? Or anything else!
Far Cry if you've not played it.

You can get XPand Rally and the GTi Racing as one pack for a fiver too.

EDIT: aargh, that's 5 *pounds* so might be out of your budget.
Yeah but are they good games? Havent really heard much about them. Im not after a sim just a fun game that can be played easily with the keyboard
Far Cry's fantastic. I remember hearing good things about Xpand Rally, but the other one I don't know. Both the racing games are simple enough so you should be able to have a blast using the keyboard.
Already got Far Cry first half was good went down hill after that! Especially the last level. Guess i will get Xpand Rally.

On Topic of Xpand Rally...I got it as a freebie with a component (Gfx card maybe...dont remember) Installed it, tried it...deleted it within 5 mins..its crap..much better selling your voucher and buying RBR off Amaon

Some of the little indie games on Steam are pretty good, you will just have to browse through them and see what you fancy..Peggle is pretty fun btw!

Maybe just add this money your S2 account for Hi-Res. skins or an upcoming S3 licence.
Havent actually played LFS seriously for well over a year now. Just use the forums really!
GTI Racing is rubbish. Don't bother. All of the racing games Blackbean publishes are just awful.
go for something like Day of Defeat Source if you like shooting games. Its a great game for the $$$
Trials 2 Second Edition is pretty fun IMO, I bought it in a Indie pack.
It usually costs $9.99, but now is 33% Off: $6.69. There's a gameplay video on the website.

There's a demo and some videos you can download to see if you like it.
Also, Audiosurf, I have this game too and it's fun for people who like music, but there's not really a objective or something, just to spend your time playing "literally" on the track you're listening to There's also a demo for it. $6.69

iFluid is very fun too, it uses PhysX and I like to play it, only problem is, it costs $8.99 and I see you only have $5 to spend on a game. There's a gameplay video on the website.

I have got Xpand Rally and for me I don't think it's worth it, depends on the person who is playing it. Neither cars or tracks are real, it's got some very good graphics and some attention to detail but car physics aren't that good anyway. Even though graphics are very good maxed out, playing this game on low graphics will result in overall game looking like toy cars and "play dough" tracks. Well, look at the video and see if you like it.

IMO GTI Racing is definitely not worth it.

Gravitron 2 is very fun IMO, I have it too. You can try the free demo before getting it: $4.49

Even though it is completely out of plans, a "cheap" game I would recommend is World of Goo. It's very addictive and fun to play, I spent more than 2 hours just playing the demo Was $19.99, this weekend only: $13.39. There's a free demo for download.
