Another "what wheel" thread - Urgent - Buying one in about 4 hours :P
In Sydney, what's good and where?

Will spend up to $200 I'd say, however, cheaper is better if I dont need the features...

I've heard about the Logitech Momo that looks good, and then there's the Driving Force Pro or something, then there's the Logitech WingMan Formula Force GP...

The only one Id consider is the DFP.
You can get them over here for about £65, $155AUD
Solid FF wheel, some report weak pedals, some dont, wear socks and be gentle I say
For the money theres no choice imho.
The DFP's are going for 200+ MINIMUM, so I'm picking up a Momo from a supplier after work for $158.. VERY VERY hard to find these in stock over here, so I'll grab it while I can

I.e. I've been sitting on the net for 3 hours and have been through about 15 sites and called about 5 companies... lowest price is 135 or so and have no ETA of when they are coming in
Well, if you need a wheel you need a wheel
The Momos are very good as well by all accounts.
Have fun, savour that new wheel feeling, mmmm fresh
Quote from mosquito25 :For PS2, but working well on PC

I just hate when people are saying "it's for PS2". It's not designed for PS2 or for GT4, of course it has that lame GT4 logo on it. Logitech just wants to market it as a PS2 wheel. If it was desgined for PS2, the official drivers wouldn't support it.
