It fits into a normal USB-PC port... I didn't need an adapter or anything.

Don't even bother splicing those cables together, you'd probably just fry the PS2 controler.

are you reffering to a PS/2 socket off of a mouse or keyboard?

its a ps2 wheel with the ps2 plug in its not usb
