Pls recommend me a Tower for approx £350
I have a budget of about £350 to build up a tower i already have a case, dvd drive etc so its just the main components that i need can anyone recommend something suitable so that i can run LFS through a 32" samsung hd tv (which has 2 hdmi slots and a vga plug.)
isn't 350 a bit not-enough?
Do you have a capable Power Supply, copy of Windows etc?

When you say main components what do you mean?

CPU, Motherboard, RAM, Hard drive, Graphics card?

Do you need a power supply or a mouse, KB, operating system, speakers?
I already have a computer which im going going to dismantle so i think il need

CPU, Motherboard, ram hard drive(although i could use the old one to get me going) Graphics card and a power supply.

Ive got all the kB, mouse, speakers etc The OS isn't a problem either

So basically i have the case plus all the peripherals (and my G25 which is coming tomorrow Yay!!)

Is my budget too small?

Any good?

Im not to good comparing specs etc but the building part i can do (plus ive got lots of people i work with who xan assist with the assembly part, boot up etc)
what would you recommend then?
Not spent that much time on it, that's your job.

Read some reviews and do some comparisons i.e. CPU's at around the same price (don't use GHz as a comparison between AMD and Intel, it more complicated). Do the same with the graphics card.

Don't know enough about power supplies.

dabs is also good.
Slightly over budget, and no hard drive, but a fairly decent budget system...

I would drop the E7200 for a E5200 and drop the 8800GT for a ATI 4830.

E5200 is a little slower but worth the price, 4830 is newer generation then the 8800GT plus it's faster and cheaper aswell (might start to cripple at anything higher then 1680x1050 res).

I'd love to see them SLi two ATi 3450's, esp for £75 for the extra card (worth £30)
