I read that too. Red bulls 'people' responded by saying that it contains a totally harmless de-cocainized extract of the coca leaf as flavouring which contains none of the narcotic elements of the coca leaf, just the same as coca cola, and many other foods and drinks apparently.

Peace treaty was signed between the the Allies and Germany - which at the time had become East & West Germany. A united Germany only re-emerged when the Berlin wall fell, and so the war between the Allies and Germany was officially over.

It's one of those annoying QI tidbits.
