For a start, some time ago, i was a FILTHY cracker, but I bought the licence, because it just was kind of STUPID to play this awesome game and not be paying for it.

And the main reason for this post....
I think that the basic sounds of the cars are quite "lame"... They just don´t give that "racing" feeling....
So, I just wanted to share my "tweaks" and presets, (thought they are for the old version V, remember, I was a bad boy cracker)

So here is the thing; i have tweaked setups and made some presets which i like, and I thought that some one might be interested about them.

No Dodge Charger has ever come from the factory with an engine that large. Biggest engine that the Charger has ever had was the 440ci (7.2L) engine.

That Charger V8 sound is really good but it sounds just a bit muffled. The F1 sound is also awesome but since you were recording it from behind the head, it had the lower pitched sound eliminated.
Did you clip both sounds to make them that good?

hat cant b in game sound editor, its csr. no way can the xrt sound that way without csr. and good on ya for realising that cracking is filthy, dishonerable, stealing and most of all illegal. grats on the license.

he used tweak for patch V so the sound is possible without csr

but doesnt it sound more like a corvette?

The dodge engine might be too big, i don´t remember where i have googled that size.
Remember, these are only tests and presets made for fun . The main idea was to get the engine sound like V8.

And yes, the sounds are clipping a little, otherwise i can´t get the engine sound like "real"

I haven´t used any csr, if you mean that external tool that alteres the engine sound with some sample loops?

In youtube, the F1 engine sound and the others are someway altered, and they´re not sounding like in video files in my computer. But it is allmost the same, i fix it someday

thats patch x, but maybe you should update to patch Z. It's waaaayyy better than the older ones.

Upgrading from Patch X to Patch Z doesn't require an S1/S2 account. Since you're a DEMO user, you'll have to trade the XRT for the Formula BMW, which is a pretty decent car in my opinion.

Dodge Charger HEMI Stock has 5700cc I dunno where you get a 8.7 cuz a charger don't sound that loud....? Because my mommy has a durango with the same engine. [Most dodges sound the same] The sound of Charger would be similar to a Ford Crown VIC
