Personally I always wanted to do something like that when younger.
LMAO

She's 78, was she confused or doing something she always wanted too and getting away with it?
Oh My God!!
Sounds fun

What I don't get is; don't the people at checkin control the conveyor belt sending your luggage into the rest of the system? Did they just flip the switch and wave goodbye when she sat down on it?
Article says it was an automated thingy.
If you read the article it says it was an unattended belt...

Pfh.. real men don't read the article.
I'll have to ask Thomas if he did it on the way over here...

Nor operating booklets to the new 1200W Circular saw recently purchased from B&Q....

....hence why now you're more likely to bump into someone who has had an accident and is missing an arm, than it is to win the lottery.
Lmao!!

If I ever bumped into a chap who lost an arm for that reason I'd have to buy him a pint, just because his stupidity brought me some humour.
LOL! That's one crazy lady Must have been fun
Good thing she wasn't at Heathrow terminal 5...they wouldn't have found her for three weeks!

Maybe she knew it was going to be fun.
People go stage-diving, crowd-surfing, and running the escalator in the wrong direction. This could become the new craze.

lol
the 78 year old was later given an ASBO by swedish police in regard to her dissgraseful behaviour , witnesses standing by say that theyd never seen sutch a act of behaviour and this raving pensioner , now lets hear what she has to say ,

It looked like fun and i was dying to try it out .
It must have been good fun. Now make it a tourist attraction.
If I reach old age, I will use it as an excuse to do all the crazy stuff you normally can't get away with, knowing how the Swedish are usually up for a laugh it wouldn't suprise me if she knew exactly what she was doing.
There's a whole poem about what a lady would like to do when she's old, and get away with it with the "old age" excuse. But I doubt this was on her list of things to do.
Quote :
"WHEN I AM AN OLD WOMAN I SHALL WEAR PURPLE
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple."

But hell, looks like a lot of fun!

...except doing them at GCSE makes them rubbish.

It was a GCSE poem?!? Wow you got lucky!
That would be something my elderly mother would do for fun, and pass it off as senility.
