heyy everyone

well my idea is that considering there are cruise mod goin around and i was thinking the cars in lfs are prob the most realistic cars in any game out at the moment by far that i know of.

i was thinking of having a "free roam" track making the game more lifelike insted of just racing because lfs isnt all about racing theres drifting/drag and cruise as well. well what about traffic lights and adding the cops and tow trucks also into it and including all of those elements (drag, drift, cruise, racing) into one big open track avaliable to everyone.

there will be people who dissagree with me but im trying my best to help with improvment ideas for this great game

thanks in advance

Well, I dont know if they would add cop cars etc. The most I can see them doing is possibly making a open version of the tracks, like all the varients combined sorta thing. If that even. Still +1

LFS is a racing sim, you have clearly brought the game for the wrong reason. I brought a racing sim like most people, it seems you want a cruising game, which LFS is not.

Anything that takes LFS towards the cruising thing will be a terrible, terrible thing.
I do cruising, and I still don't need that LFS supports directly police officers and tow-trucks. That's why we have thing called "insim". And it works just fine in LTC-servers.

+1 for open tracks (As mentioned about 10^3 times before) if it would be possible (And because it is not...).

I didn't bought LFS for racing only. I just like to drive without any kind of point (Test how cars behaves in different situations). I find online racing to be too serious business for me. Maybe one day I shall try out CTRA Bump & Jump server, but I doubt I will never try other CTRA servers.

Anyway, any kind of track is good. A track can be used multiple ways, so why you want a specifiq cruise track when you can have tracks that servers many purposes.

Edit : Tho that free roam part did sound interesting.

Drifting and drag racing are a form of motorsport, cruising is not a motorsport.

What comes to an open track, the only use I'd see is if layout editor was improved and made faster to create layouts with less limitations.
As the others said, its the 1000nd or even more same suggestion that is made, so close.
Hearing the word "cruise" makes me sick Way to go of enforcing the official Cruise support with the new patches.. Maybe they should stop development of racing related stuff and concentrate only on making a Cop car, and maybe you can get out of car and steal other cars? Who cares about racers, we're the minority anyway...
On the internet, no-one can hear you scream (at the forum).
