Please correct me if I'm wrong
where's 8800GT? didnt see it.
Strange list, examples:

The 7800 GT is mostly faster in games than a 8600 GTS, even if this card should win synthetic benchmarks.

The 6600 GT is a lot faster than a 7300 GT.

The 7900 GT is much faster than a 8600 GTS.

Why have you stolen this off Overclock.net with no link back to say who ACTUALLY made it?

this has been proven to be false anyway...

I see no 2900 Pro, GT, 3850, 3870, 8800GT, new 8800GTS or the tweaked old 8800GTS made by eVGA. I also see you've got different memory versions in there, yet no 256/512 MB 7950GT division.

EDIT - Before someone has a go at me for "having a go at someone who tried who's only 8", heres the guide he just plagarized. And heres the newer one with newer cards thats linked to at the top of the first post...!

I gave you a link so you didn't have to dishonestly copy and paste it wasting space
mods just lock this thread and delete it

And the month or two away 9800GX2 and 3870x2 crowning it off (0>-)

The 9800GX2 from what I heard is a major dissapointment, only 30% better than the 8800 Ultra. Yet the 9800GTX blows the entire 8 series out of the water several times over. So basically, someone thought it was a good idea to stick two 8800GTX's together and call it the 9800GX2, but the 9800GTX will be the card with the new technology. I could be wrong though.

Basicaly. It's actualy two G92 GTS's in one. Why they didn't give the G92's a 8900xxx tag is beyond me - unless they plan on card revision within the 9xxx series (naming it 9900GT/GTX/ect) like they did with the 5 and 7 generation. The whole 8 series has become messy and confusing to a joe shmoe walking into Best Buy to pick the old GTS 640mb because, "if it costs more, it's usualy better quality".

I heard the 98GTX is gonna be based on the G92 also, so... if thats true, looks like we'll be waiting for new technology for a while. Hopefully ATI catches up and puts on some pressure again.
nice job on stealing someone elses work.
Sure, but he claims it is his.

The saddest fact is that at the very top of the page he nicked it from, links to a newer more updated one...

The TNT2 should be far higher up the list, i loved that card. It actually played CoD2, no idea how but it managed it.
TNT2 sucks ass, it wouldn't even play GTA3. I had to buy a Radeon 7500 to play it about 5 years ago.
