Wazup people?

So, there might be a couple of threads about this, but i couldn't find one with a straight forward "thread name". Anyway..

Why LFS doesn't support add on tracks? If even simbins games have that kind of support, wouldn't that solve the whole "licensing costs" on the tracks?
Since they wouldn't be official there should be no costs involved and we could be racing at laguna seca, nordschleife and so on so forth..

Three reasons:

1) If the devs sanctioned it, it'd fall foul of the legal system

2) Would you want to hunt around for the precise version of a track just to race on a server?

3) There is no way to check the quality of the tracks

4) The game is still in development, so it would be crazy to support custom tracks when said tracks might have to be reworked everytime a new incompatible patch comes along.
