help making water in blender.
hi, i didnt post this in the 3d renders section because it had nothing to do with lfs. (before flamers start)

i was wondering if anyone here uses blender and could help me out as im on making a waterfall scene thing, but have no idea on how to make the water. i no for water surfaces you can just make aplain and make it transparent and add texxtures/colours/ etc, but its the actually spray and the falling water im stuck on.

i had a go at making particles the same way as the grass is mae however it looked really rubbish and crap.

if anyone has any suggestions please let me know as you can help me greatly. cheers

EDIT: attached what i have so far. im sure people will agree my attempt at water luks more like blue fur. :S

Quote from LFSn00b :1. Get a blender
2. Get water
3. Put the water into blender
4. Turn the blender on
5. Wait 10 seconds
6. Turn the blender off
7. Ready!

Oh you silly n00b, he was talking about Blender, that 3d editor program thingy
Might have been the best Niko post ever.

I don't know nothing about subject, but I can provide few links that I searched, maybe those should help a bit?

Also remember that blue is not perhaps best colour for water, well in some cases it could be realistic, but if you look that pool of water it still is not very blue http://mayhem-chaos.net/photoblog/images/blue_fountain.jpg

Edit: For example bit similar fountain as in your scene, see how water is transparent / white, then make bottom texture and water surface as animated texture for larger non splashing areas, maybe that way ? But as said, I have not made such thing ever.
From there blender artists board one could perhaps find bit more information with fluid simulation or flowing water searches?
