im sure this can be explained easily, but recently i have experienced this problem where the body disappears, leaving only the lights, glass, interior, wheels, and driver on outside view mode. here is the picture:

lol, thats wierd. it sounded like missing DDS files, but because of the picture, i think its worse than that. My advice is to just re-download LFS. The easiest way around it.

lol it occurs intermittently and its not permanent, i havent seen it at all today, it was mainly yesterday (probably because i restarted my computer)

I have tried playing LFS without the DDS files, but that didn't happen. Something may be wrong with the vob files.
Don´t forget Shift + Q for more grip at start.
alt+f4 for nosssssss

you can also say: type "/exit demo" to exit the demo mode and get s2 for free! hah lol i just did it today

If there is a problem with the DDS files, then how would it be possible for the interior to be visible? And anyway, if you delete a DDS file it defaults to a white color, with full opacity.
