Heres a tip, don't go on the servers that do it. I have used the /msg before as a joke, but only to people who know me or know its a joke, and I wouldn't use it to make offensive remarks. So just do what everyone should do who posts these kinds of thread, go to a different server!

Given that the feature is just open to abuse, why not remove it?

Or have it output (ADMIN) [username]: <message> instead and remove all ambiguity?

Of course that wouldn't do nearly as much for the length of the admin's e-schlong, so admins everywhere would be crying into their Fatal1ty-endorsed laser gaming mouses over it.

I've just closed the thread, mostly because of the potential for naming and shaming server admins (aka LFSers) which obviously we don't want. I'm sure you guys understand. Feel free to spark up a discussion about hosts and their behaviour IN the hosts forum, if doing so won't result in slamming any individuals OR their servers.
