Before anyone screams do a search, i have but didnt seem to find the info i was after.

Ok in this game does brake help work like ABS ie it stops you locking the brakes, or does it work like some other games were it applys the brake for you when the computer feels its needed.

I only saw the option the other day, and it seems ive been driving the whole time without help.. Am i hindering myself or what by not using it. ?

It works like a primitive version of ABS

If you gain or lose time by using it depends on your skill. If you're prone to locking up the tyres under braking, then enabling it might help you a bit, but if you don't have any problems during braking the help will very likely just increase brake distance.

I think most people don't use brake help, I don't, it would probably slow you down (lap times).

If you are having trouble with locking the wheels when braking then either brake less or turn the braking force down on the set.
