problem with calibrating "homemade" clutch
I'm using an old nascar pro digital II as my clutch. I couldn't get the potentimeterthings to work so had it rigged up as a button, which worked fine until today, so I was able to crudely rig the steering po-thing up and it works fine except the pedal doesn't allow it to move the through the axis' entire range of motion, so the clutch won't fully engage. It's range is about 1/3 disengaged to fully disengaged, which means I have to drive around while slipping the clutch badly.

Is there a way to add/increase a dead zone or something so that I can use the available part of the axis to act as the entire range of the clutch?

I know some games have a deadzone you can increase, but i didn't see that in lfs.
nevermind. I just tried the "recalibrate axis" button and that worked. hopefully it will still work tomorrow.
