Which software is better, Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere? I have been using Virtual dub to edit videos, but it just doesn't have enough features compared to more professional software. So, If anyone has either of these, please post and tell me how easy it is to use, and if its worth the price. I have been thinking of getting a better video editing program. Me and my friends are thinking of making a movie! It involves a scooter chase scene BTW.

I find Vegas has plenty of features and is very easy to use. Premiere is more professional and I haven't goten around to working out to use it properly. For the average joe I think vegas wil do everything you need and more. Anything it can't do you can always get a plugin.

I've always seen better results with Vegas because unless you use After Effects as well, Premiere on its own isn't as powerful imo. The exception is bluescreen work, which is easier in Premiere.
