im still learning, and i still have alot to learn, but i think im on the right track.

the skater is brooke, from north london, moving to canada this sat.
My father had a 1981 GPz-550, basically an earlier version of that bike, except without any bodywork at all and an air-cooled 4-cylinder instead of a liquid-cooled parallel-twin. It was also a bit heavier, I think, but still pretty quick.
Nice "classic" machine

Dan,
I used to have one of those. My first bike after getting my full licence. 60 bhp gives you similar in gear acceleration to a Scumbura Impreza Turbo. And the parallel twin thuds away. Cool bike. Nice thin tyres means it drops over real easy too.

Problem I had with it was scraping the centre stand and footpegs all the time.
yea, ive already taken a chunk outta the centre stand, and for some readon i find myself very comfortable tipping it in, right up against the tank, bolt upright with my foot out, supermoto style.
Wait...your moving to Canada this month? Thats not going to get you around in the winter.
