Qualifying Result

Round 9 saw a low intake of drivers for the event, with only 4 drivers setting a qualifying time before session's end. It was Race Green's M@CI3K whom claimed his first pole position of the series ahead of PM's JM 616, and newcomer Miguel. Race Green's NOSLE lined up in 4th, ahead of late joiners ahmet (ESP) and Born2Race's Rayman, forming a six car grid.

The race

The grid set off evenly and cleanly for the most part, with only ESP getting his braking wrong and clipping the rear of NOSLE, sending him into a spin at Turn 1. The top 4 stretched away from Rayman, who was lucky to avoid contact with the stranded ESP.

As the drivers completed the opening lap, NOSLE found his way around Miguel and set his sights for the top two. As the race entered its lull period, NOSLE slowly picked off Miguel and then drew close to his team mate, eventually passing him for the lead and staying there to the end. M@CI3K kept his team mate honest to the end, with Jam 616 claiming the final step of the podium.

The next event of Round 10 sees the drivers again tackling another OG track, Rony's Figure 8. With not many corners and many opportunities for slipstreaming, it will certainly be a race to remember. See you then!

**Notice - there will not be any detailed race report following this race, due to my Nvidia driver not being able to alt-tab into LFS MPR for some reason...
