Hello, i just installed the newest reshade version 5.9.2

i installed it for LVS with directx9, but when i start the game, the game crashes immidiately.

I also tried direct 10/11 but to no avail. Also running the game as admin doesnt help.

I then deactivated most effects in the installation process, but the result is the same!

Someone under the newest LFS youtube video told me, that in his case Reshade works flawlessly with directx9.

Is there a way to fix this? Do i have to run the game in compatibility mode?


My system: Win10 pro, gtx 970, i5 4670k, 16gb ddr3 @ 2600mhz, game and reshades installed on an nvme 2.0 ssd.

the game works perfectly without reshade.

i hope someone can help!

open up reshade.ini and under [GENERAL] set "PresetPath=.\ConfigName.ini" to "PresetPath=.\ReShadePreset.ini"

at least that's what fixed it for me

you also need to set your depth filter as it's what's controls most effects. you'll have to disable in game aa and use reshades version off aa
