Good Race!
RACE START PROCEDURE

Race will start with the Safety Car deployed and the message ··SAFETY CAR·· onscreen. The leader must follow the SC and keep pace with him during this first lap or FORMATION LAP. All other drivers must follow the preceding car, in a staggered manner and maintaining their line. Overtaking is not allowed under any circumstances. Tyre warm-up is permitted as long as the driver can control his car and does not endanger others.

Second lap is PACE LAP, and the message ··SAFETY CAR IN THIS LAP·· indicates that the SC will accelerate after turn 1 and shall leave the track before turn 4. Leader must keep the speed set by the SC during the FORMATION LAP and let him drive away until he is in the pits and therefor spectated.

In turn 4, it is the leader’s privilege to accelerate at will, while the rest of the drivers must keep formation until the Green Flag (··GO··) shows up. Overtaking opponents is allowed form now on.
RACE PROCEDURES

Cars should always overtake another car from his opponents’ left, using the inner line, including the SC when told so by Race Control.

Exception to the aforementioned rule is an abnormally slow car or a stranded one, which may be overtaken from any side.

Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution in their manoeuvres at all times. Slipstreaming and overtaking an opponent is always a potentially dangerous situation, and lag may turn a slight touch into a catastrophic event.
SAFETY CAR DEPLOYMENT

When the track is deemed unsafe for race conditions, Race Control will call the Safety Car. This will be announced by an onscreen message ··SAFETY CAR··

Drivers must gently slow down, refrain from overtake any car and form a SINGLE FILE queue following the SC.

Drivers between the SC and the leader shall be called by RC to overtake the SC and accelerate to reach the queue.

When the track is deemed to be safe again, the message ··SAFETY CAR IN THIS LAP·· shall appear onscreen, and the leader must proceed as in Race Start procedure.

Pit Lane is closed during Safety Car deployment. Only those cars seriously damaged and unable to keep pace in race conditions may enter the pits for repair service. Refuelling and/or changing tyres during this period is not allowed and penalties shall be awarded.

Drivers CAN'T complete penalties during Safety Car deployment.
