Of course. Neither S2 licensed drivers. Who said I'm not gonna buy the license right after the Westhill update? Because this is exactly what I'm going to do. I've played LFS a lot on my friend's account and decided to make a step forward once the update is released.

I guess everybod would rather drive on the new Westhill than waste time writing posts in this thread, but actually if devs don't do any progress, we have to do that.

I'm just waiting for Scawen to come and say "We're working very hard on the update, and we want to finish it as soon as possible." The problem is - we don't want to hear that. We would like to have a chance to try the new track.

It doesn't matter what Scawen says. He will just come here and make incorrect prediction "just a few weeks guys, calm down, we're working hard". And then it will take another few months.

No, it's not because of no progress report but lack of new content. If Scawen could just release things as they are in their current state, call it a pre-beta-test patch. These are the last seconds for releasing Westhill. After that time, nobody will even notice the update.

Notice the difference in attitudes of developers towards community: iRacing and AC: "You can play our games!" LFS: "You can play other games..."

Your degree of frustration caused by lack of new content has entered another level - you are so angry at devs that you started defending them (clever attempt to convince yourself everything is fine and there's nothing to worry about, i.e. 'I don't need new content').

Scawen, please close this thread and give us the new Westhill, ok? Or rename the thread to 'No progress in Westhill guys, see you in early 2009'. If you release it tomorrow, I'll buy S2, S3 and even the rally pack. You told us, demo guys, to get ready for the update. So I'm ready, how about you?

Scawen doesn't know the word "progress". It's not even about delivering new content. It's about not announcing things to come in 2 weeks as a remedy for lack of new content and then delaying it infinitely. They talked about Westhill in June...

Still better than LFS development pace though.
