The CRT that I used was an Eizo. I destroyed 2 in about 4 months now.
Don't know why, the screen just starts flashing and I hear little bangs or flashes. Don't really know how to call the sound.
I'm gonna try some games on a friends widescreen tft and see what I think of it.
Hi,
My CRT 21" monitor died on me yesterday so I'm looking to replace it by a nice flatscreen to save some energy. (that beast was getting 150Watts when it was on)
Problem is, I can't find any flatscreen that isn't widescreen and I'm scared that games will look awefull on them.
So my question is: will LFS and other games be stretched out on widescreens? Or does LFS just cuts off the top and the bottom of the screen? Or how is a normal resolution fit into a widescreen resolution?
Is it possible to position a fullscreen window manual? Like give it position in the middle of the widescreen and make it less wide than widescreen? Or is this totaly unnecessairy?
I don't think you should say another f*cking word.
The only retarded guy I see here is YOU.
If I remember correctly, YOU were the guy on a server that was PRIVATE FOR A REASON!
Concerning the crash everyone is b*tching about: I say kart didn't really make a mistake. Yes, he reversed. Yes, people trying to avoid them got hit by him. And yes, this is a simulator. But it's a simulator if you look at the gameplay. It doesn't make us all professional racers (now, I can hear a lot of nFinity guys think: Well, I'm a pro racer. Well, I'd say you're the biggest loser around.) I bet most of the guys who saw that crash happen though: "How can I profit from this crash the most." And all these guys think offcourse: Let's slow down as less as possible.
If this would be a FULL simulator (but it isn't, LFS is a very good attempt at being an as realistic as possible race simulator) there would have been a red flag and race would have been stopped/restarted.
Anyway: I'm not here to fight the penalty he got, I'm just here to say what I think about all of this.
This league is becoming more and more rediculous.
It just keeps on accepting sing ups...
Half of Infinity team just joined, just because they are (very) fast at so6.
And how is it possible that someone who didn't sign up for the league yet is just wondering about on the BABY UFR LEAGUE 1 server...
If this keeps on going, I wont be attending anymore races...
Well some bad (maybe good for others) news but Team Spark0 wont be there. The team has been pretty inactive the last weeks and this weekend (when the race is) half of the team isn't at home.
Maybe fot the Kyoto 500 we'll be present
Something wierd happened to the website I think.
If you check the screen, everyone has the number 3, this was the same for evey server, not only Race 1.
I'm doubting to take that as an insult
What if we just want to test how strong our team is? Or whatever reason you can come up with?
I don't see why you had to say that, if people want to have driver switches then let them but don't start saying they shouldn't compeet in this event (or in other words : are too weak or just plain stupid).
Yes I know but wait, lemme see if I understand you.
You mean that if there are several drivers from a team who are not signed in as a team (different numbers). You count their points and devide them by the number of players.
What I mean is, can't they just be seen as individual drivers?
