UF1000 on FE:Club rocks big time. I'm a newbie to this game and the only online server I have been on is this one. I think I'm at about the limit of how fast I can be with this gamepad (PB of ~55secs), but I have a DFP on the way so hopefully I should improve soon.
I noticed in the other thread that banning is by way of IP. What happens if there are 2 players who share the same machine/license?
The reason I ask is because my 10-y/o son plays on my machine, but under a different player name. Whilst his lap-times are not in the running yet he still enjoys playing online and he I have told him all the rules and flags, and he is really quite curtious (yeilds under a blue flag etc.)
However he does make the occasional mistake, and sometimes gets a few 'words' by other people on the server. If he was to get banned, that would also mean I wouldn't be able to connect to that server right?
Well his response was that it must 'have been damaged in transit' There isn't a mark on it
All is not lost though, I've just been on the phone to Logitech, explained the problem and gave them the serial number and it's still under warrenty, so they are sending me a brand-new one
A recieved a used DFP that I got from ebay today, and I'm having problems getting it to work. Basically it's acting as if there is no power getting to the motor. When I power it up it doesn't go through it's calibration, it just sits there with the left LED blinking. The right LED remains continuously lit.
I'm using the latest drivers from Logitech, and it detects the wheel and shows it in the test/config screen but it doesn't respond to any movements or button presses.
I have opened it up and I can't find anything adrift. There is power coming from the power supply to the main PCB.
Have I bought a faulty unit?
If so does anyone have an old phisically damaged unit that I can have the main PCB from?
I have just got a Logitech Driving Force Pro that I got off egay, but the idiot forgot to put the power supply in the box
Whilst I wait for him to send it, can someone on here who owns one give me the specs of the power supply so I can see if I have one I can use?
