Hi,

I'm the Australian manufacturer of CST Pedals and accessories.

From what I can see on the website, the GT-3B pedals would fit the cockpit you've described. You'd need to confirm the inner dimensions of the footwell, but I think they'd fit.

Sorry for the late reply.

Quote from Knight_Atack :I don't think that's usually accepted :P . Ask permission and they'll usually do it for you or something.

Hence why I asked. These guys do a fantastic job and their work deserves our utmost respect. I'll ask around.

Thank you for replying

The lack of real-life tracks is the main reason I stop playing LFS for extended periods of time.

I've lost count of the amount of times I've posted in threads requesting real-life track content. I'm not expecting the dev's to create them, just let someone else do it.

Piddy's post is a perfect example of this. He's a guy who seems to have the know-how and gear to get the job done.

I've personally been involved in the creation and testing of real life tracks (Bathurst for SCGT was the first I took photo's and drove/tested) and would be more than happy to devote a weekend to do so again.

I think I'm going to give iRacing a go. :banghead:

Would be great if we could have a FULL simulation of the adjustable components in an F1 car eg, Live diff adjust, air fuel mix, rev limit, oil pump, diff settings depending on tyre (especially if we get wet weather)

Kinda like this....

I know not everyone would use them, but it's something I've wanted in a racing sim for SO long and the LFS BF1 is the closest thing we have to a proper F1 simulator.

If we got Bathurst (or there was a chance of someone making it) I'd happily drive up there (3 hours, but in my car, who cares) and take as many photo's and measurements they could possibly want.

If we were going to have a 3 wheel car in LFS, this bad boy would be it.

Also look at this

Now this thing would be AWESOME fun. Especially if we ever got wet weather.

OR, they COULD just make the Nurburgring and that would solve the problem real fast.

I'm enjoying this too much aren't i??? LOL

LOL, don't get me started on the whole "LFS would be the greatest racing game ever if only it had REAL LIFE TRACKS" thing again.

It makes people cranky :P

I think the membership numbers would explode if we had all the circuits from the F1 Calender.

Imagine if LFS was the first game to feature the night Singapore track!!?!

Track editor, but not with slot car parts. Just open up the code and let us make real ones dammit!!!

That track work was incredible.

After watching that video, how can anyone say we shouldn't have real tracks in LFS? Can you imagine how good the tracks would be if the dev's just let talented people like the guys responsible for that make their own tracks??

Quote from ksa_land :The 2006-version (VLN,24H,Tourist) is under further development and it's called "Nordschleife 2.0". Now they do bugfixing.

A onboard lap was posted yesturday at the german website "RF-Nordschleife.de"

Download: (101MB; it's a .mkv filetype so you will need VLC to play the video)

Amazing work.
I'm officially jealous .

Must be the drivers then, cause I've unplugged every other drive exept my SATA2, and it ain't slow.

Would be nice for the Dev's to tell us these things though

Thanks for your help. I'll get on it

I've got the same problem and I'm running LFS off a SATA2 drive.

I've got Intel P4 3.2G with 7800 GTX vid card. I just uninstalled and used driver cleaner to update to the latest vid drivers and it's screwing up more than before.

Not happy

Quote from Crashgate3 :I was going to vote 'No', however the Bathurst option in the poll was just too tempting..

I'm generally against LFS having real tracks and cars though. It woulkd just encourage arguments on the forums about the fact that corners aren't right and that the wrong number of blades of grass have been used.

I guess that's why we have track version updates

Quote from Hyperactive :Well, there is this: http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=15859

Thankyou for that. I voted I'd pay more for all of them.

AND it seems that over 40% of those surveyed would indeed like to have the 'Ring.

I'll pay for all of them.

In fact, I'll pay MORE than 20 euros to just have the code for the tracks released so the talented people who have made tracks for the other racing sims (GPL, R-Factor etc) can transfer their tallents to LFS.

Has there ever been a poll asking if people want real tracks??

There's so many threads of people stating they want real tracks like the Ring, and much less saying they're happy with the tracks we have.
I think to settle this argument, a simple poll would suffice in this forum.

Bathurst is a given. The FOX at Mt Panorama would be so cool.

Quote from Tribe :id like to see silverstone definately and also maybe the TopGear track? now that would be kewl

It would.

And even better with the addition of wet weather. Would be great to test on real life tracks too. In F1C I used to always test at Mugello and Spain. Was great to be testing for the next league race at the same tracks the real F1 guys do

So who do we have to pay/kill/bribe etc to get the option of making our own tracks for LFS????
